Random Recent Pictures

So I have a bunch of random pictures that I've taken recently. None of them are really important enough to warrant their own post so I decided to just put them all together.

The kids love it when I open the blinds in my bedroom in the morning. The sun streams through super bright and they lay on the carpet and bask in the warmth.

Getting Ethan up and to school by 7:45am for Kindergarten is going to be rough. The other day I went to wake him up around 8:15 and this is what I got. He rolled over and pulled the sheet up over his head.
Then when I pulled the sheets off to get him out of bed he grabbed it back and pulled it all the way over his head and tucked it under so I couldn't pull it off. Definitely NOT a morning person. Hmmm... I wonder where he got that from....

Ethan found a pair of glasses that Jake wore in one of his broadway performances awhile ago so of course he and Olivia had to take turns wearing the nerd glasses around all day.

The other day I was folding some laundry while the kids played upstairs when I realized it had gotten awfully quiet. I snuck upstairs to see what was going on and found this
They were snuggled up like this watching some old Looney Toons. Have I ever mentioned how much I love that they get along so well?!

We have some big flower beds in front of our house and Olivia loves to help water them.  In fact she kept getting mad at me this day when I was trying to help her hold the hose.

It has been such crazy spring weather that the deer have stayed in town much later than usual. We passed this little family just down the road from us while taking Ethan to school one day.

And of course, a picture of my kids finding another tiny place to play in. Seriously?! We have 4000 sq feet and they play in the closets and cupboards? Weirdos.

Ethan's last days of Preschool

Every year before school ends our elementary school does an art and science fair. Ethan was so excited to be able to participate. They learned about plants growth process and drew pictures of it.

They also learned about caterpillars and butterflies then made these cool butterfly pictures with their handprints.

Here is Ethan on his last day of preschool. Every other day he changes his mind about whether or not he is excited about Kindergarten. He really liked his preschool teacher that he's had for the last two years so I think he is a little nervous/bummed about getting a new teacher. We'll see what happens when it's actually time to start school in the fall.

Snow? In May? What?!

I never thought I'd see the day that my kids could play in the snow on my birthday!

All right, so there wasn't really much snow, but any snow at all in the middle of May (especially in Southern Nevada) is crazy!
